Banana Bread


INGREDIENTS

    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 3 medium bananas
    • 2 cups all purpose flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Cream the butter and sugar. The more thoroughly you cream the mixture, the lighter the bread will be
    2. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well
    3. Stir in mashed bananas
    4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt
    5. Add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture, in thirds using a sifter
    6. Sprinkle the nuts and stir well
    7. Grease loaf pan and add batter to pan
    8. Preheat oven to 350
    9. Cook for 1 hour
    10. Cool for 10 minutes
    11. Turn out loaf
