INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 medium bananas
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cream the butter and sugar. The more thoroughly you cream the mixture, the lighter the bread will be
- Add the eggs one at a time and beat well
- Stir in mashed bananas
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt
- Add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture, in thirds using a sifter
- Sprinkle the nuts and stir well
- Grease loaf pan and add batter to pan
- Preheat oven to 350
- Cook for 1 hour
- Cool for 10 minutes
- Turn out loaf
