Lemon Pound Cake

INGREDIENTS

    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 stick butter
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1 1/2 cups flour
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 3 tablespoons lemon juice

INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Cream sugar and butter
    2. Add eggs one at a time beating lightly
    3. Stir in dry ingredients and milk (stir only enough to blend)
    4. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 45-50 minutes
